Who I Am & What I Do

I'm a Software Product Manager, living in the wonderful (but rainy) city of Portland, Oregon.

I focus on helping companies of all shapes and sizes build remarkable products that drive value to their end users and delight their stakeholders! Great products start with a simple intention: how do you want your users to feel? Following that question leads to discovering, insights, product pivots, and iterations that bring about the best that software can provide.

In my role I serve as a connector and a unifier, helping companies shape their visions and create a common language by which to speak about their idea. I'm happy to say that every day day is a challenge and every day is awesome.

Communication

Close communication and closer relationships help keep the vision of the product secure, and the interests of the users protected.

Alignment

Constant attention to where we're going and what we've done helps ensure that the product matches expectations, and leads to delight.

deployment

Timelines, budgets, buckets of person hours, and eventually: launches. I help ensure that all hands are on deck and we deliver well beyond the bare minimum.

I aspire to building excellent relationships, solving problems and infiltrating/understanding complex systems.

1. Empathy - Adept at sensing the emotions of others, intuitively seeing others perspective, and broaching sensitive topics with grace.

2. Strategic - Enjoys finding patterns, improving processes, and identifying the best route.

3. Responsibility - Driven to take psychological ownership of anything committed to, bound to conduct oneself in an ethical, proper, and upright manner.

4. Futuristic - Inspired by the future and possibilities. Enjoys empowering others with visions of what can be had through changes in present behavior.

5. Learner - Having a great desire to learn and continuously improve; the process of learning—rather than the outcome—is invigorating and exciting.
